Volunteer Leaders Recognized at Corporate Breakfast
The Boys & Girls Club of Brockton held its first corporate breakfast at the Warren Avenue Club on November
30th.
The
99 Restaurant of Easton was recognized as the Club’s Corporate Partner
of the Year. General Manager
Mark Fontneau accepted the award on the restaurant’s behalf and spoke
about the passion he has for our organization and the kids we serve.
Sue
Nelson of HarborOne
Credit Union received our Volunteer of the Year award. Sue was
instrumental in helping us plan and implement our 2011 Black Tie &
Tennis Shoes event honoring Mr. Jim Blake. She has also dedicated many
volunteer hours at the Club and mentored several employees
this year.
The
corporate breakfast was an opportunity for us to meet old friends and
develop new relationships. We
introduced our Community Service Initiative and are looking for
volunteer support and sponsorships to allow our eager Club members to
give back to the community they love! For more information on the
Community Service Initiative, please contact Jay Miller at
