Become a Partner

At the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton we work to provide all of our members with high-quality programming that is safe, fun, and makes a measurable difference, with an ultimate goal of imparting to them the skills needed to achieve success in the 21st century. We recognize that no single organization can provide everything needed to enable youth to succeed, and so the Boys & Girls Clubs is constantly working to forge dynamic partnerships with local schools, community organizations, businesses, and coalitions to maximize our collective resources and the ultimate impact we make in the lives of the young people we serve.
Rodman Ride for Kids

The Boys & Girls Club of Brockton has been involved with the Rodman Ride for Kids since 2012. In the past 5 years we have raised over $450,000 to support our after-school and summer programming through our partnership with the Ride! The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth focused social-service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride for Kids and its affiliated agencies' fundraising initiatives occur year-round, and culminate with The Ride cycling event each fall. Affiliated agencies raise funds through corporate sponsorships and the fundraising efforts of individual riders. In turn, the Ride matches those funds at a rate of 6% when the agencies meet their fundraising goal. The Rodman Ride for Kids is the #1 athletic fundraiser in the nation solely supporting at-risk youth and has raised nearly $100 million dollars since its inception! The Ride for Kids is a signature partnership that offers our donors an amazing return on their investments and the opportunity to participate in the Ride as a culminating event each fall.

Shields Health Care Group

Shields Health Care Group has long been a supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton, and for 21 years now they have generously hosted our Annual Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament directly support the Club and our youth. As the Club celebrated its 26th anniversary we also celebrated the 21st Anniversary of the tournament, which took place on Tuesday, June 28th at Pine Hills Country Club in Plymouth. More than 240 friends of the Club turned out for a great event in celebration of the life and impact of our dear friend Thomas F. Shields and the entire Shields family, who founded the tournament on behalf of the Club and was such a tireless champion for the youth of Brockton.

Brockton's Promise

In 2005, Brockton civic leaders and community members formed a coalition centered on “five promises” aimed at providing for the futures of the young people of Brockton. Known today as Brockton’s Promise, the coalition works to help support the healthy development of Brockton youth by making good on the promise to provide: Caring Adults, Safe Places, Effective Education, a Healthy Start, and Opportunities to Serve. Today, Brockton’s Promise is a diverse partnership between more than 30 community organizations, colleges/universities, schools, and public departments in greater Brockton. The Boys & Girls Club of Brockton is a proud member agency of the alliance, which like our Club, recognizes the important contributions that youth make when given the opportunity.

United Way of Greater Plymouth County

The Boys & Girls Club of Brockton is a proud member agency of the United Way of Greater Plymouth County. The United Way of Greater Plymouth County works to assure by means of Citizen Leadership and action, that the people of the greater Plymouth County area are provided with an efficient and effective network of human care services which is capable of meeting documented community needs.
